Teamwork, whether it is in sports or business, is crucial to the success of any organization. Producing outstanding products and services, particularly in piezoresistive pressure sensing, is a tight orchestration of design, process and personnel. We are pleased to briefly describe the people that define and make Merit Sensor Systems® what it is today.

Christopher L. Durham, President of Merit Sensor Systems

Chris joined Merit Sensor in January of 2006 after serving as an executive with our parent company, Merit Medical Systems.

Chris has over 20 years of experience in R&D, product development, new business development and quality assurance in the medical device industry and brings extensive business, industry and management experience to the team.

Chris has engineering degrees from the University of Utah in Bioengineering (ME) and Electrical Engineering (BS). In addition, Chris serves in a variety of engineering capacities in the community, holds three patents and is fluent in Spanish.

Scott R. Sidwell, Manager of Engineering

Scott joined Merit Sensor in September of 2003.

Scott has over 11 years of experience in a variety of engineering capacities from semiconductor companies such as ON Semiconductor and Motorola SPS.

Scott has an engineering degree from Brigham Young University in Chemical Engineering (BS). In addition, Scott has served in a variety of volunteer capacities and is fluent in Spanish.

Dallan B. Andrus, Site Engineering Manager

Dallan joined Merit Sensor in June of 2005.

Dallan has 9 years of process engineering and engineering management experience from companies such as ON Semiconductor and Westinghouse.

Dallan has an engineering degree from Brigham Young University in Chemical Engineering (BS) and an MBA from Arizona State University. Dallan is trained in Lean Six Sigma.

Wayne C. Rowley, Supervisor of Manufacturing

Wayne joined Merit Sensor in February of 2005.

Wayne has over 10 years of experience in manufacturing supervision, primarily in the medical device industry with parent company, Merit Medical Systems.

Wayne is completing an engineering degree from Salt Lake Community College. In addition, Wayne has served in a variety of volunteer capacities and is fluent in Spanish.

In addition, our production and support staff has significant, tenured experience in wafer fabrication, assembly, packaging and maintenance.
